Kevin loaded up the car while I waited for that final paperwork. Mom showed up with Brooke (who was in another special outfit of her choosing with her hair unbrushed, haha), we took a few pictures, and were on our way.
Colby looks itty bitty in his little sweat suit! Ahh, I can't believe how small he was compared to the chunk he is now (3 months later). Brooke was being super cute, too. I love my babies!!
Apparently it's a rule that the mother has to leave in a wheelchair, so we headed down to the main floor. As we waited in the lobby for Kevin to pull the car around, a sweet lady gave Brooke a bunch of balloons left over from some event the hospital sponsored. Those balloons, along with the one from the Myers, made Brooke one happy little girl.
I strapped Colby in and we were officially ready to head out the door!
Mom was our official photographer, haha. If only Brooke was looking at the camera! But like I said, she was pretty excited about those balloons.
That evening, Auntie Mel Mel came over with the girls to meet Colby. Aubrey was especially enamored with Colby and had lots of kisses and loves for him :)
Melanie brought dinner as well, which was awesome since we were all pretty exhausted by this point. We ate a yummy dinner, then settled in to watch Cinderella, again. It's a favorite of ours :)
By the end of the night, Colby was exhausted! We were both ready for some sleep. In choppy segments, of course :(
