We really pack a lot into our Saturdays, so after soccer and a birthday party, we headed to the lake. Brooke wanted to stay home with Grandma (who was working on a Sunday School lesson), so I headed out with the boys. It was so fun observing them in their element with their shared love of all things boating.
Papa sat up front with Colby, and as you could have probably guessed, Colby asked to go wakeboarding right away. These pictures crack me up because Kevin and Colby are wearing their matching shorty-shorts, and Kevin's lifejacket was wet so he's wearing the first one we pulled from the lifejacket compartment. Real men wear pink, right?
To say that Colby loves and adores his Daddy would be a huge understatement! And I love the way that Kevin loves and adores Colby right back. Colby's excitement and love for being on the boat has cemented these two together, and nothing is cuter than these father-son moments.
You're a good boy, Colby Roy, and you rock boat hair better than anyone I know!
