goodbye 2020

We watched Stargirl on New Year's Eve and loved it!! It's a movie about a boy who is "inexplicably drawn to the free-spirited new girl whose unconventional ways change how they see themselves and each other." Couldn't have said it better myself, haha. The story was adorable and the music was so fun. It gave these kids all sorts of inspiration to put on their costumes and be themselves :)

This might be the year that Brooke finally outgrows her 4 year old dance costume...

The next two hours passed in a blur as they danced and sang their hearts out, stopping only to toast with sparkling cider at midnight!

Thank heavens that my kids know how to sleep in and didn't wake until 10 and almost 11 on New Year's Day!!
