flower mound pumpkin patch

We always love the pumpkin patch and despite having to wear masks, we were so excited to keep up with this tradition.  The masks definitely put a damper on photo ops, but most people pulled them down for pictures anyway, so we followed suit...
And we took them off completely for pictures with just our family...
No matter how big these kids get, they still love coming here and playing on all the wooden structures, checking out the characters, playing on the playgrounds, and doing the hay bale maze.
Oh, and can't forget the hay(less) ride, haha...
And the giant pile of hay that they spent forever in...
We had a blast, then grabbed lunch and headed back to Grandma's house to celebrate her birthday :)
Grandma showed the kids the stocking she was making for Emery and let them each do a few stitches.  The stockings are always a surprise so the kids have never seen the process, but i'm glad Grandma made an exception so they could learn how she actually makes them!
It's sure great living close to family so we can keep these traditions alive!
