We've had so many wonderful boat rides this summer and it made Papa so happy to have this whole family (except Grandma who was sick) on the boat for his birthday. Colby and Aubrey were holding the door for everyone and it quickly turned into a "cousin order" picture, as the kids call it.
Emery has been the best boater baby and this picture perfectly captures her cuteness...
Uncle Jeff brought some ribs he smoked the night before, so of course I had to take a picture of them cozied up in the front of the boat, haha.
This might be one of favorite pictures of Brooke this year! She loves the kneeboard and has totally made that her thing.
We made sure to call Grandma mid-afternoon to check in and see how she was doing. Brooke totally looks like a teenager, but I adore this memory of her just chatting away with Grandma.
Kinley and Aubrey both tried the kneeboard and were able to get up with lots of coaching from Brooke and a little boost from their Daddy in the water.

Then we ended the day with cake at our house...
Brooke and Colby both wrote the sweetest notes to Papa and put them in a tower of boxes with random treats inside. How precious are these pictures??
I love the way Colby is looking at Papa.
