Minnesota-day two

Day Two started with a beautiful hike.  I kept laughing at Kevin's socks, which he called his "mosquito repellant socks", but they were definitely out of character for him.  But smart nonetheless because the bugs were BAD.
All good hikes require snacks, haha.  At least when kids are involved :)
We stopped to watch some muskrats that were playing in the water.
Apparently we were being too noisy because Claire started shushing us, haha. At one point she said, "Be quiet because of the bugs."
At the end of the trail we found a playground, which was the best part for the kids.
These two loved playing on the slide together.  Colby has been super sweet to Claire so far and even took his beloved hippo stuffy to her a few times when she was crying at the house.
Grace (16 months old) was so cute to watch...
We had the most amazing lunch at Lola's which is right in the middle of a cute German town.  The timing was also perfect to stop and watch the New Ulm Glockenspiel chime at 3 PM.  The doors below the clock opened and we enjoyed watching and listening to the whole thing.

I was also happy that Grace came and sat with me, even though I think the main motivation was my sunglasses, haha.
Day Two was another full day of fun!
