minnesota-day five

Welcome to The Goofy Goat Farm!  Kimberly found this gem in a local Facebook Mom's group and it did not disappoint. No admission, no supervision, just come and play with the goats!  A few of the goats were outside the gate and standing on the small playground as we parked. Kimberly and I pulled out some food scraps (as suggested on their website) and stepped inside the pen.  These goats were NOT shy or patient and basically ended up jumping up on Kimberly and I to get to the food.
Kevin has the funniest video of us in action and even refers to me as "the goat lady".  It really was the funniest thing, but also a bit alarming how much disregard they had for personal space, haha.

Apparently, I was trying to tell the goats I had nothing left!
Colby had the worst luck trying to get food from the machine because this goat was ALL up in his space!  I tried to box him out so Colby could reach the food, but that greedy goat just pushed his way right to the dispenser despite my best efforts.
Brooke fell in love with one of the baby goats named Jasper. She even made the cutest sketch of him in the car as we drove home :)
The kids basically followed the goats around while the adults had a good laugh.  Some of the larger males were quite aggressive and were bullying certain goats.  It was like Llama LLama and the Bully Goat in real life, haha.
And now we can say we've been to The Goofy Goat Farm :)
We spent the rest of the afternoon hanging out at Kimmie's house, which was a nice break after a few busy days. Grace was being adorable at dinner, so we'll end the day with this...
