The kids were super tired the next morning, so I was a little nervous waking them up when it was going to be -2 degrees at Angel Fire.
But thankfully, by the time we arrived the sun was shining and the 17 degrees felt amazing.
We loved when we could all ride the lift together, but I also really cherished the one-on-one time with each kid when we had to ride in pairs. The conversations were always really sweet and there wasn't a distraction in the world. Just look at these trees!!
After a few hours of sunshine, the clouds rolled in and the flurries started. It was so magical watching the snow fall as we skied down the mountain. Everyone was so happy, which made ME so happy.
Quite possibly one of my favorite pics from Angel Fire. The trees were amazing and even though I couldn't convince Brooke to move her face warmer, this moment is etched in my mind forever. Fresh off the lift and ready for adventure!!
Colby's favorite pastime: riding up on the banks and plopping in the snow.
Caught this sweet moment as we started out on "Headin' Home." The front side of the mountain was okay, but we definitely loved the back side and the path "home." (And we were grateful for the sweet guy who saw us studying the map and gave us lots of tips and pointers when we first reached the top.)
Our last run down the mountain...
We rested our feet before heading back to the shuttle...
We ended the day sledding at Angel Fire, which the kids dubbed their favorite sledding spot! They caught air multiple times and were covered in snow by the time we finished.
Our car was covered in the red dirt and snow, so Kevin wanted to document it.
I was so grateful for another safe day on the mountain!
