conference campout

One of our favorite Fall traditions is camping over General Conference weekend.  It's always super uplifting to hear from the prophet and other church leaders, and it's fun to throw in family time as well. 

Setting up camp together is one of my favorite parts!  Taking down camp and cleaning everything up a day later, not so much!

I told Kevin to life his head up because I knew he wouldn't love his baldness in the photo, but instead he covered his head with the stake bag.  What a goof!

Brooke loved playing with sweet Emery...

Colby had the special task of cleaning out the fireplace for the roasting of marshmallows...

We ate far too many s'mores and let the kids stay up way too late, but they were loving it all!

You know you played hard when they fall asleep within 10 minutes of getting in the car to head home!
