We hosted a final goodbye dinner for the Myers family and nobody wanted the night to end!! It was just too good to see all these kids together! Eva was the only kid when we became friends, so seeing these 13 kids grow up together has truly been priceless. How often can you say that you have been friends since birth?? Texas will not be the same without them!
Don't mind the awkward hand-holding, haha, I already had one good cry for the night and I was just so sad to think about Tracy not being in Texas anymore. Colorado is so lucky to get this amazing family!!Britton, Colby, and Hudson :)
Graham and Brandt :)
Camden :)
Then it came time for the actual move and it was the saddest thing! I went over a few times to help Tracy pack, but went back on Friday to help pack the truck. They were quickly realizing that they weren't gonna have enough space. Poor Doug was in a tough situation trying to figure out what to leave behind, and how to remedy the situation. Kevin came straight from work that night and helped Doug brainstorm. In the end, they left a car (which they came back for later), and pulled a smaller trailer behind the large truck, even though we later found that it voided their warranty! Tracy also had a flatbed trailer behind her van, so they managed to take their 5 chickens, 3 bunnies, and a bunch of plants, haha. Although it was a bit stressful, spending their last few days with them was the very best. Lots of tears were shed, but it can't be helped when your friendship runs deep!
I had to get a picture with Tracy by her cheerful yellow door. Yellow doors will forever remind me of her and the sunshine she brought into my life during our time in Texas. As Kevin and I talked that night, he commented that we have literally "grown up" together as adults. And it's so true!! Tracy's physical presence in Texas will be missed tremendously, but 14 years of friendship is just the beginning of our lifelong friendship.
Love you forever!!

With so many little boys, Nora was a godsend for Brooke. She will definitely be missed!!
Colby and Finley :)
We said our final goodbyes, took a few last pictures, and headed home so they could have a few minutes alone in their home. Love you forever!!
