We went to the CUTEST pumpkin patch mid-month and enjoyed a few beautiful hours on the mostly shaded property.
Colby liked the unique gourds...
I love that my kids don't feel too old to ride down the slides.
We made our way over to the corn maze and Brooke pulled out the new walkie talkies I recently ordered them. She had stuffed them in her purse "just in case we got separated from each other." Clever thinking, my girl :)
They loved this hamster wheel, which was surprisingly harder than it looked.
The petting zoo was also a big hit...
We got a kick out of this goat who made his way to the top of the little shed.
Nothing makes you realize how much your kids are growing up more than seeing them try to do all the activities at the pumpkin patch. My personal favorite was the little bouncy animals. Brooke commented that she looked like a grasshopper with her long legs and I can't unsee it, haha.
Although there were a lot of people there, it didn't feel too crowded since all the activities were pretty spaced out on the property. They had multiple teeter totters, tree swings, and old tractors to climb on.
We ran into my friend Sherry and her daughter Sydney, so we hung out with them for a while. The kids took a few rides around in the barrel cars, went back to the petting zoo, and jumped on the jumping pillow.
The pumpkin patches we used to go to have both closed down, so although this was a new tradition, it's one that I would definitely do again.
I loved pumpkin patching with these two...
