halloween

Colby and I attended a Halloween party on Friday night at the Ram's house (in GP 1st ward) and he was obsessed with this wooden hockey game.  You better believe he's planning on making one of his own!
A few days later, we attended our ward Trunk or Treat.  My kids have been super into playing spies/secret agents recently, so it was no surprise when they asked me to order them new walkie talkies and earpieces for their Halloween costumes.  That was literally the only thing they needed, so I happily obliged.  I also used the backdrop from Colby's Spiderman birthday party for a "city" vibe on our trunk.
Of course, they needed one picture in character :)
Brooke wanted a picture with Beverly Goettman...
And took a turn holding Daisy Hibbert...
On actual Halloween, schools have "Storybook Character" day, which is basically an excuse to wear your costume to school.  Colby went with his spy attire, but Brooke opted for a softball player.
We went trick-or-treating with the Hawkins family (per usual) and had a little candy swap right after.
Sadly, Brooke also had to finish a project that was due the next day, so it was a late night for us! But we enjoyed the fun while it lasted :)
