loyd park

We're so lucky to live near the lake, not only for boating, but also for having a sandy shore to play on!  We normally go to Lynn Creek Park since it's free for Grand Prairie residents, but we were meeting up with our old Arlington friends, so we met at Loyd Park on the other side of the lake.  It was such a fun time, and the kids loved floating and splashing around with the Myers and Sturgill kids. 

Colby did so well with his puddle jumper, and floated all over like he owned the place.

When it was time for some snacks, the kids made themselves comfortable, haha.  Moms totally take one for the team when it comes to their own comfort!
