Nothing says "Back-to-School" like full backpacks and new sneakers. Ready or not, the new year was upon us!
We didn't have great lighting at home, so I opted for a few pictures at Daulton instead.
My babies aren't so little anymore, but I was excited for a new year of learning and growth for them.
Brooke's school starts 30 minutes after Colby's, so we were both able to walk him in to class.
We parked at Lillard and had a few minutes to hang out together before walking over to the building. She was a tiny bit nervous, but mostly excited. And surprise, she loved it SO much!
Mr. Gibson, the Principal, was at the doors greeting the students.Colby's teacher posted a few pics on the class IG page...
Colby was excited to tell me all about his day while we waited for Brooke to get out of school. I had a minor heart attack when we couldn't find her for 10 minutes after school, but apparently they release the "walkers" later than the car riders, which meant that we were stuck in parking lot traffic for 30 minutes. The first few days of pick-up were rough, but by day three, we had it all figured out.
And day two, because I like to take pictures :)
