Colby asked to open presents in the morning before school, so it was an early morning for everyone. Nay Nay and Papa even woke up early to be a part of the festivities.
He was so excited about his "NFL approved" football...
He was also really excited about his new lego set from Nay Nay and Papa and a new book.
He went to school all day, had soccer practice that evening, and ended the night with a yummy cheesecake.
That Saturday, we hosted a flag football party with Colby's friends from school and church. We gifted him flags for his birthday, and since he had his new football, we were all set.
Kevin separated the boys into teams and was the caption of Colby's team.
The other team...
And the spectators...
We were so thankful for friends that would come to play. Back: Brock, Taden, Edmund, Harvey, Whit, Nathan, Elias, Carter, and Brooke. Front: Frost, Jackson, Colby, Logan, and Marlie.
The referres: Grant Hibbert, Troy Richey, Kevin, Whitaker Smith (he made the kid picture but since he couldn't play, Kevin gave him a whistle), and Ryan Hawkins
Colby was spoiled with gifts...

And us with the birthday boy! He thanked us multiple times for such a fun party, complete with pizza and homemade chocolate chip and M & M cookies. We love this kid so much and it was fun to celebrate him all day.
