Brooke turned 11 on Saturday and requested to start her day with breakfast in bed! And Colby bought her a water volleyball, which he wanted to give her before she even finished breakfast.
She went to the Stake Primary activity on her birthday, then we hurried home to open a few family gifts before her party that afternoon.
She was excited about her personalized jewelry box and purple cloud shoes. We also gave her a Gabb watch (which will allow her to call and text us), but I shockingly don't have a picture of that.
We FaceTimed with Nay Nay and Papa so they could watch her open their gift, which was the cutest pair of white cowgirl boots.
Before the party, Kevin went into the field to mow the area we wanted to use for kickball. She wanted a repeat of her party last year, which was super easy since we already had everything we needed for slip-n-slide kickball. He originally planned to do a small section, but he was overzealous and ended up mowing quite a bit. He definitely won dad of the year because mowing a large field with a push mower takes FOREVER!
Brooke and I set up the table in the garage with the cute party supplies we found at Hobby Lobby...
And then the guests arrived...
Back Row: Carter, Harvey, Hope, Pyper, Kayla, Lily, Emery and Brooke, Aubrey, and Kinley.
Front Row: Brock, Anayiah, Frost, Marlie, and Colby.
After an hour or so of kickball, we brought out the pizza, salad, and fruit.
I'm pretty sure Brooke ate 4 cupcakes by the end of the night! We ordered them from Target and she clearly loved them.
I didn't take a ton of pics during the party, but I did try to get a few more during the meal/presents and as guests were leaving.
Hope and Brooke...
Girl Cousins...Aubrey, Brooke, Kinley, and Emery.
Brooke and Marlie Hawkins...
Lily Danielson (from our ward) and Brooke...
Our neighbors, Anayiah and Kayla Weaver...
We had a tearful goodbye with the Richey family since they were moving to Oregon the next day. The Richey boys: Frost, Harvey, and Rhys...
The Peacocks...
And a quick picture of our family...
It's hard to believe that we've loved this girl for ELEVEN years!!
