prairie lights sneak-a-peak

Colby started throwing up Saturday afternoon and continued throughout the night, so I was worried that we would have to skip the Prairie Lights Sneak-A-Peak on Sunday. But thankfully, he was feeling better mid-Sunday!! I think he willed himself to feel better because he LOVES this tradition.  

I took this as we were driving into the park.  The light tunnel is definitely our favorite part!  Sadly, I never get a good picture of Brooke sticking her head out the window since she's on the other side of the car. 

We ran into the Hawkins (and their extended family) at the starting line, so we stayed with them for most of the course.  It was a chilly night, but we loved walking through each themed section and looking for any changes from the previous year.

We love this tradition and feel that it's the best way to kick off the holiday season!!
