The Daddy/Daughter Dance was nothing short of adorable. And the fact that it fell on Brooke's birthday made it extra special for her! She was so excited about helping to plan and set up for this event. They even needed an extra helper, which meant that I got to witness all the cuteness first hand.
They started off the night with a guessing game. You wore your character on your back and had to ask everyone clues to figure out your character.
Then the dancing began...
I adore this picture of Brooke during the Hokey Pokey, haha.
Bishop Danielson and Lily...Joseph Harrison and Abby...
Ryan Hawkins and Marlie...
The Elders helped serve the food...Brooke and Mattie Murray...
Not surprisingly, I took lots of pics to post in the Activity Days GroupMe. After refreshments, they danced some more! Kevin has taught Brooke a few swing dancing moves over the years, and you better believe that Brooke wanted to do them all!
These two won an award for their awesome dancing. Brooke's face was pure joy and I adore the pic of her smiling up at him. Those high school dancing lessons really came in handy :)
The evening ended with a performance from the girls and an adorable rendition of "My Girl" from the dads.
I love that the leaders put on such a sweet event for the dads and daughters!
