This handsome guy turned 35 the day after Christmas.  Can you guess what his birthday wish was?? If you guessed boating, you are right :)  He wanted to put his new board to good use.  When siblings asked what to get him for his birthday and Christmas, I sent them links to wetsuit gloves and booties that I knew he wanted. He was decked out and ready to jump into the 60 degree water. 

The whole family joined us, so it was a party at the lake :)

They had the marina all decorated for Christmas, which was a fun surprise.

When Kevin was done doing his tricks and spins, we went for a boat ride, then headed to Torchy's Tacos for some lunch. I hadn't made Kevin his birthday cheesecake because we ended up sleeping over at Jerry and Bev's house the night before "so we would be ready to go early in the morning."  I told Kevin he better appreciate me because it is a pain to pack everything you need for just an overnighter.

The next night, the four of us enjoyed a yummy cheesecake to celebrate Daddy :)
