fall leaves

Fall came later than usual in Texas, so we had a lot of leaves to rake at one time!  Since we did this on a Saturday, Kevin was able to help.  We were all grateful because it would've taken the kids and I forever on our own.  

But we couldn't bag them up before the kids had a bit of fun...

I love these little ones so much!!  And I loved how excited they were about jumping in the pile over and over again :)

Brooke started doing flips into the pile. and the laughter coming from both of them was hilarious.  

Colby ditched his shirt in the process because he was SURE it was too hot, but I was worried that he would end up completely itchy from all the leaves. We sent him straight to the shower when we went inside :)

More leaves fell a few days later, so we had to have another raking party!
