We had a blast on our second annual Hawaiian Falls trip with the Hawkins family! We love spending time with them, so a weekend away was pretty great in every way. We rode lots of slides, played lots of badminton, a little miniature golf, and floated the Lazy River once they finally opened it.

Since the Lazy River was closed most of the day, hardly anyone was in the sandy beach area, which was a total win for us!

Since we stayed at Hawaiian Falls until 6 PM, we opted to grab dinner as is instead of going back to the hotel to shower up. We happened upon a place called Union Hall and we will definitely go back. It's basically like a food hall/court with all different local vendors offering the most amazing varieties of food with common tables throughout. Our family had tacos, brisket mac + cheese, pizza, edible cookie dough, and gelato.
We booked rooms at the same hotel, and since we knew they had a basketball court, we brought along a few balls. As we parked and unloaded, Brock started asking if we could have "night recess". Nothing beats basketball and a late night dip in the pool!
Let's do it again next year!!
