colby boy's birthday

How can this little boy be three years old already? Since we were leaving on our camping trip on his birthday, we let him open gifts the night before his birthday. He was eager and READY!  

Brooke was especially excited for Colby to open the gift she picked out for him.  Just as she thought, he loved the spiderman glove. Other gifts included Clics, baseball bases, Hot Wheels, a Batman watch, and a basketball hoop for our trampoline. 

After he went to bed, Kevin and I filled a bunch of balloons and placed them on his bedroom floor.  He came down super early the next morning, woke me up, and said, "Somebody put balloons all over my floor."  It was pretty cute :)

I took a few pictures of the birthday boy, and then we headed for some birthday donuts.  Notice his new watch :)

The rest of Colby's birthday was spent on our camping trip, but we had a family party the following weekend. We did a bit of decorating to make things fun...

Colby even requested this picture with his cousins.

His birthday wish was for his cousins to come play basketball on the trampoline, and baseball at the park with his new bases. Pretty simple birthday plans if you ask me :)

The family baseball game was probably my favorite :)  Papa was on a team with the kids, and the rest of the adults made up the other team.

We sure adore our sweet boy!  Watching his face as we sang to him was precious. You could tell that he felt special, which made my heart super happy.
